Your preview in five minutes
Sign in, accept the agreement and take a quick tour of your preview.
There is no password. You sign in with a link we email to you. Until you do, the header on this Help site shows "Sign in"; once you are signed in, it shows "Open Studio" so you can jump straight back.
Throughout these guides, "your contact" is the person who set up your preview. That is someone at dfinitiv, or at one of its partners.

- Open the invite email from dfinitiv and follow the link, or go to the sign-in page and enter your work email.
- Choose "Send sign-in link".
- Open the email and click the link. It expires in 15 minutes.
- If it has expired, go to the sign-in page and choose "Send sign-in link" again.
Accept the agreement
Before you can use your preview, you accept the AI Forge Sandbox Agreement. Until you do, the agreement fills your project page, every item in the menu shows "· locked", and your AI assistant can't open your guide either.

- Open your project. The agreement is the first thing you see.
- Scroll to the end of the agreement.
- Choose "Accept". The menu unlocks right away.
You accept once for yourself, and it covers every preview you are invited to. Each person invited accepts for themselves. If the agreement changes, you are asked again. Choosing "Decline" signs you out; you can sign in and accept at any time.
A tour of your project
Your project has two sides. Build is how your guide looks and feels: you change it mostly by asking Claude or ChatGPT, then see the result here. Operate is how it is doing: how much it has been used, what was asked, and whether it works.
The menu on the left lists your project's pages, grouped into parts you switch between at the top of the menu; if you don't see a page, switch to another part. These guides name each page on its own, such as Preview or Links.
| Pages | What you do there |
|---|---|
| Build: Preview, Assets, Sections, Brief, Tools, Links, Build connection, Prompt library | See your guide as a member sees it and browse its versions, add logos and photos, see which sections show, read what it is for, see what your guide is made of, get a link with no sign-in to try your guide as a customer and share with your team, link Claude or ChatGPT so your AI can change it, and copy proven prompts to ask it for. |
| Operate: Overview, Analytics, Conversations, Health, Lifecycle, Change requests | See how your guide is doing at a glance, see how much your preview has been used and what is left, watch questions arrive as they are asked, read past conversations, test your guide the way a member's assistant would, see whether your guide works in Claude and ChatGPT and when your preview ends, and follow the changes you have asked for. |
To read the agreement again after you accept it, open the Build connection page and choose "Read the agreement".
Forge uses a "connector" to link your AI assistant to your guide. You add it with your build link, which is private to you; the customer link is the one to share. The Connect guides walk you through it.
