Try a gallery demo
Install a gallery demo in your assistant
Add a demo to ChatGPT, Claude, Grok or Muse, and fix what usually goes wrong.
What you need
You don't need a Forge account or a sign-in. You need one of these assistants, on a plan that lets you add your own connector or app.
| Assistant | What it needs |
|---|---|
| ChatGPT | Needs ChatGPT on the web with a Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise or Edu plan. A workspace admin may need to allow Developer mode first. |
| Claude | Works on Claude's free plan (one custom connector), Pro, Max, Team and Enterprise. On Team and Enterprise an Owner adds it first. |
| Grok | Needs a paid Grok plan on grok.com. On Business and Enterprise an admin adds connectors in the xAI console first. |
| Muse | Muse is available in the US and Canada only. |

If something goes wrong
| What's happening | Try this |
|---|---|
| You don't see Connectors in Claude | Use Claude on the web (claude.ai) or Claude Desktop: the phone app can't add a connector, but one you add on the web shows up there too. Look under Customize, then Connectors. If your Claude belongs to your company, its Owner may need to add it first, as "Add it to Claude" explains. |
| Claude won't let you add another connector | On Claude's free plan you can add one custom connector. Remove the one you have under Customize, then Connectors, or move to a paid plan. |
| Developer mode is missing in ChatGPT | Needs ChatGPT on the web with a Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise or Edu plan. A workspace admin may need to allow Developer mode first. Look under Settings, then Security and login, on chatgpt.com: the phone app doesn't have it. |
| Your assistant asks you to sign in | Demos need no sign-in. Check that you pasted the server URL from the gallery, and in ChatGPT set Authentication to "No authentication". |
| Your assistant doesn't use the demo | Start a new chat and switch the demo on for it from the + menu. Chats you opened before adding it won't see it. |
| The answer came back as text, with no cards | Claude and ChatGPT show interactive cards; Grok and Muse may answer in text. In Claude or ChatGPT, start a new chat with the demo switched on and ask one of its starter prompts. |
| The server URL stopped working | The demo may have been taken down. Go back to the gallery and pick another. |
Still stuck?
Where a demo's card has a "Preview" button, you can try it right in the gallery, in your browser, without installing anything.
