Make it yours

What you can change

What your AI can change for you, what is free, and what needs your contact.

What you can do

You can…How
Change the look and coloursAsk your AI to update the design.
Change the wordingAsk your AI to rewrite headings, captions and buttons.
Change the layoutAsk your AI to move, add or remove parts of the page.
Change offers and other sample dataAsk your AI to add, edit or replace them.
Add logos and photosUse the Assets page, or ask your AI to import them.
Choose which sections showIn Preview, turn your guide's own sections on or off, such as Offers, Map, Wallet and Checkout, when your data has them. The header, and any section made just for your guide, always show. The Data panel beside the Preview edits your mock data with a live preview; each save uses one build call.
Undo a changeRestore an earlier version. See "See versions and undo a change".

Look around in Preview

Preview opens on your guide. A bar above it and a Customize view panel below it hold a few controls. None of them uses a build call.

  • Desktop and Mobile, in the bar: see it at a computer's width or a phone's.
  • Light and Dark, in the bar: see your guide in a light or a dark assistant.
  • Mode, under Customize view: jump straight to one part of your guide, such as Offers, Map or Wallet, the way a member's question would open it.
  • Sections, under Customize view: turn your guide's own sections on or off.
  • Design template, under Customize view: choose the look your guide wears, such as Noir or Atelier. Your logo and colours stay.

Free, or uses a build call

A "build call" is any change your AI makes to your guide. Reading and trying it are free.

  • Free: looking at your guide, previewing it, asking questions, switching sections on or off, and using Read site on the Assets page to find a logo.
  • Uses a build call: any change to the design or the data, restoring an older version, and each image you upload or import.

What needs your contact

  • Real member data and connecting your systems. This is part of a paid engagement.
  • More build calls.
  • More days.
  • Turning the customer link back on after it was turned off.
  • Giving a colleague their own sign-in, so they can make changes too.

To ask for any of these, tell your AI: "Send a change request: [what you need]." That does not use a build call.

To see where your requests stand, open the Change requests page. Each one shows its status, the date it was asked for, when it was last updated and the latest review note. It starts on the open requests; choose Implemented, Declined or All to see the rest. The page only shows requests: to ask for a change, ask your AI.

  • Submitted: your request has arrived and is waiting to be looked at.
  • Acknowledged: someone is looking at it.
  • Blocked on platform change: it needs a change to Forge itself first.
  • Promoting: the change is being made.
  • Implemented: it is done.
  • Declined: it will not be made. The review note usually says why.
