If something’s off

Build calls, trial length and what happens at the end

How many changes you get, how long your preview lasts and what comes next.

Build calls

You get 10 build calls by default. A build call is any change your AI makes to your guide. Reading and trying it are free.

  • A meter on the Build connection page shows how many you have used.
  • Every reply about a change says how many are left.
  • When they are used up, reading and trying your guide still work, and so does switching sections on or off. You just can't change the design or the data.

Who owns what you build

Everything built in your preview, including what your AI writes, belongs to dfinitiv until you sign a paid agreement.

Trial length

Your preview lasts 30 days by default. Once it is live, the line under your project name shows "Expires" and the date, and the Analytics page shows the days remaining.

When the preview ends

You will see "Your preview has ended." and a button, "Talk to dfinitiv about building it". The customer link stops working too.

If your company signs on

When your company signs a paid agreement with dfinitiv, it becomes a client and your project carries on: the same sign-in, the same links and everything you built. It no longer expires, and it opens on Operate, where you see how it is being used. Your contact sets it up, so there is nothing for you to do.
